WELLNESS COACHING
Wellness Coaching is the art of creating an environment, through conversation and self-observation which, facilitates a process by which a person can move towards the desired goals in a fulfilling manner. Wellness coaching is very much needed in recovering cancer patients to avoid recurrence. Also, it is very effective in cases of overweight, stress, sleep disturbances, loss of appetite or digestive problems, headaches, recurrent infections and emotional dis-orders.
An individual’s personal needs and requirements are set as goals with the support of various wellness coaching techniques and processes. Awareness is raised regarding the present situation and the desired target is defined for well-being on the physical, mental and emotional levels. The Wellness Coach’s priority is to facilitate a dialogue to understand the obstacles that are stopping a person from achieving a desired goal, and mapping out a plan to be able to achieve that goal in a healthy and practical way. Nutrition, physical activity and rest, relaxation techniques and healthy strategies are incorporated to regain well-being and maintain balance
